If you’re looking to connect your PlayStation 4 to your laptop, there are a few different ways you can go about it. Here’s a guide on how to do it using each method.
- Use a USB cable If you have a USB cable that connects your PlayStation 4 and your laptop, you can use that to connect the two devices. Just make sure that the PS4 is turned on and connected to the internet before you start this process. Once connected, open the PlayStation 4’s settings and select “System.” Under “System Settings,” select “Network.” Select “Connect to Server.” Enter the IP address of your laptop in the “Server Address” field and click “Connect.” Your PS4 should now be connected to your laptop.
- Use Bluetooth connection If you don’t have a USB cable or if your laptop doesn’t have one available, you can also use Bluetooth connection between your PS4 and laptop. To do this, first make sure that both devices are turned on and connected to the internet. Next, open the Settings menu on your PS4 and select “System.” Under “System Settings,” select “Network.” Select “Bluetooth” in the left column and press the button next to it labeled “Scan for Devices.” If your laptop is detected by PS4 as being compatible with Bluetooth connection, it will be listed under “Devices Found” in blue text next to its name in the list of devices onscreen. Click on it so that its icon appears in front of other icons onscreen (it might take a few seconds for this process to complete). Now press down on the controller buttons located at either side of DualShock 4 (the ones with two circles) until they light up blue (this will indicate that they’re in pairing mode). Once paired, release both buttons. You’ll now be able to use Bluetooth connection between PS4 and Laptop without having any cables involved! ..
