If you own a PlayStation 4, then you’re probably familiar with the system’s built-in software update feature. This handy little tool allows you to automatically update your console’s firmware, including features like security patches and new games. However, if you want to install any DLC on your PS4, there’s a bit of a process involved. First, make sure that your PS4 is connected to the internet and that your PlayStation 4 is up and running. Then, head over to the PlayStation website and sign in with your account information. Once you’ve logged in, click on the “Updates” tab at the top of the page. Here, you’ll find a list of all of the updates that have been released for your console this year. Scroll down until you find “DLC” and click on it. Now, there will be a few screens that will appear. The first screen will ask for your permission to install the DLC onto your PS4. If you agree to this request, then it’ll start installing the DLC into your console. However, if you don’t agree to this request, then nothing will happen and you’ll just have to wait until next year when another update comes out that includes this new DLC!
